Product description

The J18 Armchair has been created by Børge Mogensen for the brand FDB Møbler. The chair is his recreation of an enduring English design classic. He reimagined it with great attention to craftsmanship.

The J18 Armchair has a seat that is titled backwards ever so slightly which encourages the user to really sit back and relax. The renowned designer also retained the spindles that are another hallmark of the chair. The chair has a high, wide backrest that is rounded at the edges. It has spindles covering the curved armrests and the entire backrest. The seat is also rounded and equally well-sized. The shell rests on a sturdy frame that is made of stout, sturdy rounded legs. These are outspread which gives the chair enhanced stability and strength. Spindle-shaped bars going along and across the legs form an H-shape and serve as a footrest.

The J18 Armchair is a Sustainable Choice product. It is made of oak or beech that is FSC-certified. It has a width of 53.6cm, a height of 74.7cm and a depth of 51.6cm. Its seat height is 45cm. It comes with a natural finish or in natural colours. Round seat pads in matching colours are available for purchase separately.
