J166 Jørna Armchair Leather

The J166 Jørna Armchair Leather has been created by Poul M. Volther for the brand FDB Møbler. The design of this chair is inspired by a touching love story. The designer created and named it after his wife Jørna. She loved to knit and the goal was to design a chair in which she could comfortably indulge in her hobby.

The J166 Jørna Armchair Leather has a high, wide backrest with spindles running down its length towards the seat. The back is arched with one end of it starting from one of the legs at the front, rising upwards and then going down to join the other front leg. A curved, padded backrest cushion that is upholstered with semi-aniline leather offers maximum support to the back. The well-sized seat has a matching cushion. The shell is supported by a frame made of oak that is FSC® - certified. It has stout, rounded legs that coordinate well with the spindles.

The J166 Jørna Armchair Leather has a width of 76.6cm, a height of 86cm and a depth of 76.4cm. Its seat height is 40.3cm. The chair comes in earthy and neutral colours that make a striking contrast against the natural oak frame.
