The C64 Shakertable Dining Table 180x90cm has been created by Børge Mogensen for the brand FDB Møbler. This table not only has a unique, intriguing look but also an interesting history. It was designed in 1950 but wasn't put into production until 70 years later. Its design is timeless which makes it aesthetically durable even today.
The reason the C64 Shakertable Dining Table 180x90cm was not put into production when it was first designed was because it has a detail that was considered bold and difficult to produce at the time. That detail is its cross-shaped legs. Made of solid oak that is FSC-certified and finished with water-based lacquer, it is a Sustainable Choice product. It has a rectangular tabletop with rounded edges that is supported by a frame that has the cross-shaped legs. The legs on either side of the table have two planks that are attached to one that goes on the floor. This bottom plank is raised in the middle which adds a subtle aesthetic detail.
The C64 Shakertable Dining Table 180x90cm has a length of 180cm, a width of 90cm and a height of 74cm. Its minimalist look of simple elegance will make it an evergreen piece of furniture in your home.
