Product description

The Colour Blend Blanket has been created by Carole Baijings for the brand Fatboy. The designer was inspired by the pure wool Aabe blankets made by the Dutch that go back to 1811.

The Colour Blend Blanket took these designs and reimagined them into plaid patterns with beautiful colour combinations. Each blanket has a base colour and lines of other colours running along and across it to form multi-coloured squares and rectangles. The blankets are made of brushed wool that gives them a soft, plush look and feel. It also makes them very warm. The wool is sourced from New Zealand which is known for some of the best wool in the world. The weaving and dyeing processes are done in Italy using all-natural dyes. 50% of the materials that have been used to make the blanket are recycled which makes it a Sustainable Choice blanket.

The Colour Blend Blanket has a length of 185cm and a width of 130cm. It is available in mineral, spring, rhubarb and clementine which are the base colours. These blankets make a warm and cosy addition to a sofa. They can also make beautiful throws draped across a bed.
