Product description

The Re-Trouvé Outdoor Chair has been created by Patricia Urquiola for the brand Emu. Its unusual design that makes use of narrow tubes in layers for the backrest brings to mind climbing plants.

The Re-Trouvé Outdoor Chair is made of narrow iron tubes. They are finished with powder coating which adds colour and gives the chair a layer that protects it from the elements. They have been joined to form the seat and backrest. They are joined in a way that makes it appear as though they are woven. The wide, high backrest is layered with smaller, diamond-shaped patterns at the bottom and larger ones at the top. The round seat has smaller spaces in between so it provides a safe, firm surface to sit on. The base that supports the shell has the same, intricate pattern as the backrest. The rods are joined to form a round base.

The Re-Trouvé Outdoor Chair has a width of 66cm, a height of 78cm and a depth of 60cm. Its seat height is 45cm. It is available in dark and light neutral colours. Round padded and upholstered seat pads are available for purchase separately.
