The Marchand Atelier Model 4044 Office Chair has been created by Christophe Marchand for the brand Embru. It is an apt representation of Swiss ingenuity. It is made for comfortable seating behind a desk.

The Marchand Atelier Model 4044 Office Chair has a mid-height backrest made of pag wood that is pressed with melamine resin. It has been used to mould a backrest that has a straight edge and sides that broaden out to provide support for the armrests. The chair has a sculptural seat that is long with sides that rise up and extend outwards, going slightly beyond the backrest. These extensions form the armrests. This unexampled shell is supported by a frame made of die-cast aluminium. It has a round, sturdy stem underneath the seat that has a gas pressure spring. It makes it possible to adjust the height of the chair. The stem branches out into five legs that form a star shape. Each one has a pair of double castors.

The Marchand Atelier Model 4044 Office Chair has a width of 62.5cm, a height of 42cm and a depth of 51.5cm. Its seat height is 54.5cm, its armrest height is 76cm and its backrest height is 92cm. It is available in neutral colours.
