The Zehn Dining Table was designed by Philipp Mainzer for the brand e15.
Mainzer is one of Germany's most successful contemporary designers. Since founding e15 in 1995, he has created a huge variety of designs for his own label while cultivating a new wave of design talent. Zehn debuted in 2010, as a radical effort to reduce traditional dining tables to their essence. As with all Mainzer designs, the Zehn Dining Table therefore focuses on restraint and simplicity, with exceptional results.
Measuring 240 x 100 x 75 cm, the Zehn Dining Tableis comfortably large enough to serve families or multiple occupancy households. It also looks the part, having been made with high-quality oiled oak, which retains its complex natural grain and rich tones. The design features an offset base, creating two larger compartments underneath, and smaller seating niches at one end. This means that the Zehn Dining Table isn't purely intended for meals or entertaining, and can also be deployed to great effect as a conference table in business environments. Elegantly simple and made from beautiful European hardwood, this table will be a useful and attractive addition to homes or business settings.
