The Fatima Commode was designed by Philipp Mainzer for the brand e15.

Mainzer is the creator of the e15 brand and has led the company into the highest ranks of German furniture labels. His own work often leans heavily on natural wood and tends to update classic designs with a contemporary spin. That's clearly on display with the Fatima Commode - a piece which looks back to ancient Arabic and Iberian furnishings.

The first aspect of the Fatima Commodewhich draws attention is its shape. The commode has a chunky rectangular form, measuring 90 x 45 x 112.5 cm - ensuring that it possesses plenty of capacity. The unit comes with four drawers, all of which have been crafted with an end-to-end bevel. This allows users to open and close them without the need for a handle, and helps to keep the design streamlined. Another standout is the walnut wood Mainzer has used, which has a rich brown texture. Finally, the steel frame provides capable support, while receding into the background. Making fine use of oiled walnut wood, this ageless design will delight owners and provide handy storage space wherever it is used.
