Pleece Blanket

The chic and elegant Pleece Blanket was designed for the premium manufacturer Design House Stockholm by the multi-talented designer Marianne Abelsson. After completing her studies at the Textile School in Boras, Abelsson collaborated with a host of prestigious manufacturers and went on to design the acclaimed Ceramic Clock Tid, the Cutting Board Range, the Pleece Collection and the Candlestick Table Light to name but a few of her achievements. Her work has received broad recognition both throughout Europe and internationally, and, therefore, she has collected a variety of awards and accolades during the course of her career.

Available in a selection of pleasing and harmonious colours, the Pleece Blanket is soft and luxurious due to the combination of viscose and polyester used in manufacture. Since 1997, this beautiful throw has been exhibited at New York's Museum of Modern Art and is also one of the Museum's best selling products. The Pleece Blanket can be used to cover chairs, sofas or decoratively to dress a bed. Easily cleaned and maintained, the throw is machine washable and can also be tumble dried. The Blanket measures 140 x 70 cm and is part of the Pleece Collection.
