Bridge Tray Ø 42cm

The Bridge Tray Ø 42cm has been created by Carina Seth-Andersson for the brand Design House Stockholm. It is a versatile piece that can be used both as a tray and a small table. It can also be paired with the Björk Pouf 40x40cm from the same brand.

The design for the Bridge Tray Ø 42cm was inspired by Taiwan when the designer travelled there. It is her take on a traditional Taiwanese piece. She modernised it by paring it down which is one of the essentials of Nordic design. It is made of oak veneer and plywood. The round tray has raised edges to ensure items placed on it do not fall. The same edges continue downward to form extensions that serve as a base that holds the tray steady. When it is placed on a round side table or pouffe of similar dimensions, it can be used as a table. Otherwise, it can be placed on the floor and used as a tray.

The Bridge Tray Ø 42cm has a height of 9.5cm and a diameter of 42cm. Apart from being used as a small table or tray, its clean lines make it ideal for displaying decorative pieces like a potted plant or vase with flowers on a coffee table, bedside table or entryway table.
