Product description

The 413 Cab Armchair Leather has been created by Mario Bellini for the brand Cassina. It is considered iconic thanks to its clever craftsmanship. It became one of the brand's best-selling pieces in Italy where the brand is based.

The 413 Cab Armchair Leather has a design inspired by the human form. Specifically, the designer replicated the way skin fits over the frame of a skeleton. The chair has an inner shell made of tubular steel rods. It has a wide backrest that has a standard height and a seat that is also generously sized. It has padded armrests that enhance its comfort. They are padded on the inside with cold polyurethane foam. The backrest and seat are also padded. The padding is concealed with upholstery which is done with 22 layers of genuine saddle leather. It is processed by hand including thinning the parts that are to be joined and stitching the layers together. The upholstery is draped over the frame and padding and held in place with zippers.

The 413 Cab Armchair Leather has a length of 52cm, a width of 62cm and a height of 82cm. It has a seat height of 45cm and an armrest height of 64cm. It comes in neutral colours.
