Although – depending on the needs of the residents and the particulars of the spacial situation – every corridor and every hallway are different, all entrance areas have one thing in common: Aside from its functional aspect as a place for storing jackets and shoes, it is the first room of a house or flat, into which its residents or guests enter. The entrance area also always has a representative character. Thusly, it should also be a living space and especially give your guests a feeling of being welcome.

With their interior solutions Schönbuch absolutely live up to this demand. In their creations the manufacturer makes sure to combine practical, functional components with stylish design. Innovative products – such as the space-saving Staple Wardrobe, the extravagant XY Coat Hangers, and the colourful Line Wardrobe – are the design solution to this approach. The collection convinces us with the typical nuance-rich Schönbuch purism. Carefully processed high-quality materials as well as an extensive colour pallet – inspired by international fashion and living trends – influence the product collection.

The company was founded in the year 1960 as Schönbuch Möbelfabrik Binder in Holzgerlingen in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. Schönbuch was quickly established as experts for corridor and wardrobe furniture.

In the year 2005 Michael Ress took over the leading position at Schönbuch and Carolin Sangha became the new creative director. The company's HQ was simultaneously moved to Bad Königshofen in Bavaria, Germany. This also brought with it the setup of a clear, design-oriented brand profile, which emphasises creativity as the initiator for interior solutions. This is why Schönbuch has been keeping up a continuous cooperation with international designers, like Studio Taschide, Charles Job, or Apartment 8 since 2005.

With their product novelties the company already won several design awards and different objects were included into the design collections of international museums.
