When founding the company in the mid-1990s Jan Kurtz set out to produce “well constructed design furniture of high quality“ and at price-conscious conditions. This very first creation already showed the typical Jan Kurtz features and distanced itself from the similar products by competing companies: The frame of the lounger is made of aluminium, the tube's diameter is generously measured, the fabric is robust – in short: Jan Kurtz designs garden and outdoor furniture with style, charms, and high quality.
