The Italian manufacturer for furniture and living accessories Gervasoni was founded as early as 1882 as a family business. Its HQ with the 30,000 square meter production grounds is located in Pavia di Udine, Italy. 80 employees work hard every day to further progress Gervasoni's development.
This happened mostly with the production of high-quality mesh design furniture, for which the company is known worldwide today. Because it is very difficult to process the original material willow was replaced by bamboo, rattan, rush, or abaca, iron, and aluminium.
While taste, fashion, and production technologies change through the years, the passion to create beautiful things with excellent quality always stayed the same. This is also expressed in the consequent cooperation with world-famous designers like Jasper Startup, Michael Sodeau, Maro Pica, and Paola Navone – the latter became the creative director of the company in 1998.
Dining table, side table, sofa, bed, desk, or armchair – the design furniture and living accessories by Gervasoni always meet the spirit of the times. Originally working with a lot of mesh material, the Sweet 112 side table or the Sweet 96 suspension lamp from the collection of the same name are sought-after classics even today. Those who wish for style and elegance in their own home, but don't want to miss out on comfort, are perfectly served with the Gray collection: The 09 rocking chair or the 77 G double bed invite you to stay and relax. Also the newer designs like the Nuvola 10 sofa or the Nuvola 09 armchair show that Gervasoni places great value on innovative design and unique material processing.
Even successful outdoor designs are in Gervasoni's selection: InOut works with outdoor furniture that is also available in illuminated versions – like the InOut 101 outdoor lounge chair or the InOut 108 side table. The vases InOut 91, InOut 92, and InOut 93 in the colours blue and white look just as great outdoors as indoors.
Because Gervasoni always strives for sustainability in the production of their design furniture and living accessories they have been awarded with several environmental certifications – by now the Italian company distributes its collection into more than 50 countries worldwide.
