The Tolomeo Sospensione Ceiling Lamp has been created by Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi for the brand Artemide. Tolomeo is a family of lamps that are built around aluminium materials, minimalist aesthetics, and adaptable fixtures. In this case, Fassina and de Lucchi have crafted a suspension lamp which can be angled and rotated to find the perfect configuration.
The Tolomeo Sospensione Ceiling Lamp has an innovative appearance, featuring two arms that extend from a central base. The arms connect to the core via hinged joints, and there are also hinges where the arms meet the two cup-shaped diffusers. This allows the lamp to be manipulated into various settings by rotating or folding, while the cups can also be rotated upwards to create indirect light. The frame is made from extruded aluminium, and the joints are made from polished aluminium, and there is a rounded ceiling canopy to complete the design.
The Tolomeo Sospensione Ceiling Lamp measures 150cm wide when fully extended, has a height of 76cm, and a total suspension height of 120cm. Robust and highly versatile, it features a pair of E27 bulbs which illuminate efficiently and reliably, offering a stylish light source for rooms around the home.
