Tolomeo Mega Sospensione Suspension Lamp

The Tolomeo Mega Sospensione Suspension Lamp has been created by Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi for the brand Artemide. Tolomeo is a collection of lamps built around minimalist industrial looks and cleverly engineered, adaptable structures. Mega Sospensione is a large pendant lamp in the collection with simple aesthetics and the ability to light larger spaces effectively.

The Tolomeo Mega Sospensione Suspension Lamp features a highly original combination of an oversized cylindrical shade and almost invisible supporting wires. The shade is a pale beige colour and comes in satin or parchment versions. Both glow white when the lamp is engaged, instantly creating a relaxing ambience. The frame of the lamp and the wires are made from aluminium, which has also been used for the circular ceiling canopy.

The diffuser of the Tolomeo Mega Sospensione Suspension Lamp comes with two diffuser sizes. The smaller version has a diameter of 42cm and is 29cm high, while the larger version has a diameter of 52cm and is 36cm high. In both cases, the ceiling canopy has a diameter of 18cm and the lamp comes with a 200cm long suspension cable. The height can be adjusted and external dimming is possible, while the lamp requires a single E27 bulb.
