Tizio 35 Desk Lamp

The Tizio 35 Desk Lamp was designed by Richard Sapper for the brand Artemide. Based in Milan, Italy, Artemide manufacturers top quality lighting products designed by internationally acclaimed designers. German born Richard Sapper created iconic industrial designs that combined German precision and Italian aesthetics. His Tizio table lamp is one of the best selling lamps ever. For Alessi he developed the 9090 expresso coffeemaker and the iconic 9091 whistling kettle.

The classic Tizio 35 Desk Lamp is a smaller version of the original Tizio lamp that was first designed and marketed in 1972. It uses 35 watts rather than 50 but the sculptural, functioning light has the same distinctive appearance. Constructed in die-cast aluminium the Tizio 35 Desk Lamp has totally adjustable, balanced, electrical conductor arms. The reflective metal shade holds a bulb with a protective lens. The lamp turns on a rotating base, has a low voltage transformer and an on/off switch. Crafted from muted toned polycarbonate, this table lamp is 56cm high and has a 10cm diameter base. The cord is 90cm long.
