Melampo Terra Floor Lamp

The Melampo Terra Floor Lamp has been created by Adrien Gardère for the brand Artemide. Introduced in 2001, Melampo is a collection of interior furnishings which won the 2001 Red Dot Design Award. Based around a contrast between its aluminium frame and satin-toned diffuser, this floor lamp in the collection is both beautiful and highly adaptable. It will be ideal for living rooms and bedrooms, as well as professional spaces.

The Melampo Terra Floor Lamp has a cone-shaped diffuser made from satin-textured polycarbonate plastic. This diffuser can be left vertical or be angled via an interior hinge, casting a gentle but insistent light in variable directions. The central spine is made from aluminium, while the design includes a rounded zamak base to add stability. A cable runs into the base, and this cable includes the on/off switch.

The Melampo Terra Floor Lamp measures 137.5cm high and has a diffuser diameter of 35cm. The base diameter is 24cm, while the height can be adjusted by altering the shade configuration. Inside the luminaire, the lamp accommodates a pair of E27 bulbs. The design is also available in a choice of colour schemes. Both blend elegance and refinement with exceptional versatility.
