The Gople Tavolo Table Lamp was created by the Bjarke Ingels Group BIG for the brand Artemide.

Artemide, based in Milan, has over 50 years experience of creating groundbreaking lighting solutions like this lamp. The Gople range was created for the label by the Danish-US design collective, the Bjarke Ingels Group, who brought their signature sustainable credentials to this beautiful lamp.

The Gople Tavolo Table Lamp combines a simple, elegant design with traditional glass techniques, resulting in a chic yet practical table light. The short aluminium stand and circular base hold an oval glass lamp, handblown using a Venetian technique that leaves the glass part opaque and part transparent. The long oval shape of the shade features straight edges and a curved top and bottom. This versatile table lamp is ideal for use as secondary, ambient lighting and can be placed practically anywhere in the home, including a study, bedroom, hall or living area. It measures 48.5cm in height and has a diameter of 21cm. The lamp requires one E27bulb which can be purchased as a product accessory.
