Dalù Table Lamp

This amazing Artemide Dalù Table Lamp is an original creation of the designer Vico Magistretti for the giant Italian design label Artemide.

Vico Magistretti was born in 1920 and passed on 2006 after a long career in lighting design. An accomplished architect, town planner and designer, Magistretti had been a member of CIAM since 1959. He served as an Honorary Fellow at the Royal College of Art in London before becoming a full-fledged honorary professor in 1990. In addition to lecturing, Vico graced several shows in Japan, Europe and America, and some of his designs are a permanent feature in MOMA, New York and more than 10 American and European museums. His most prominent architectural works include the church of Santa Maria Nascente, the house of piazzale Aquileia, the Park Tower on Via Revere and the prestigious headquarters of the Department of Biology, Milan State University.
