The Alessi100 ES19 Spice Mill has been created by Ettore Sottsass for the brand Alessi. A spice mill is considered by most to be an ordinary, everyday item that doesn't have anything unique to celebrate. That is unless it is one from Alessi that has been designed by a radical designer. Their Alessi100 ES19 Spice Mill is a thing of beauty.

It is made of wood that is FSC-certified. The wood is finished with water-based paint that has a low pollutant load and is free of solvents. This Sustainable Choice product has a cylinder-shaped body made of beechwood. The round tops are finished to match the body cap from the opening at the top and provide a secure base at the bottom. It is well-sized and is comfortable to hold in the hand and grind out some salt, pepper or spice. It is also ideally sized when it comes to capacity. Once filled to the brim it will last for many meals, even for those that love seasoning.

The Alessi100 ES19 Spice Mill has a height of 15cm and a diameter of 7cm. Sitting on a kitchen counter, it will add cheer with its playful design and bright shades.
