The Alessi100 Bulbul Kettle with Magnetic Base has been created by Achille Castiglioni for the brand Alessi. As he has done with other common, everyday items, the designer outdoes himself by turning a kettle into something remarkable. Everything from its shape and handle is a departure from the norm.

The Alessi100 Bulbul Kettle with Magnetic Base has an uncanny oval shape and an unusual, innovative handle. The unexampled design was inspired by curling stones. Made of stainless steel that has been polished to a high gloss, it has an orb shape that is flat rather than round. It has a black thermoplastic resin handle that forms an L shape over the body. The other end of the body has an opening for pouring out the boiled water. The body of the kettle has a black block along the front, back and sides which contrasts against the stainless steel and adds another aesthetic detail.

The Alessi100 Bulbul Kettle with Magnetic Base has a length of 26.5cm, a width of 23.7cm and a height of 18.5cm. It has a capacity of 2.5 litres. It can safely be used on all types of hobs including induction stoves thanks to the magnetic base.
