The Kyoto Rug 140x90cm has been created by AD Miller for the brand Woud. A rug pulls a room together and gives it structure while adding texture, warmth and colour.

The Kyoto Rug 140x90cm does this with timeless elegance. The design on the rug which is a series of lines running across it and along its length diagonally is inspired by the Japanese rock or zen gardens. Its name Kyoto is in reference to the Japanese city where the first gardens were seen. The order in these gardens is of rocks that are placed in very precise positions along with sand or gravel that is raked with equal precision to create a pattern that induces peace. The idea is to encourage mindfulness and meditation. The concept is reflected in the rug with ordered lines and a neutral colour that bring a look of serenity and a sense of order.

The Kyoto Rug 140x90cm is hand-tufted which raises its fibre to create a pile that is soft and warm to step on. It is made of a blend of premium quality wool that makes up 80% of the blend while 20% is cotton. The rug has a length of 140cm and a width of 90cm. It comes in grey.
