The stylish Mega Bulb SR2 pendant light was originally created in 2000 by the designer Sofie Refer for the manufacturer Unique Interieur.
The Danish label changed its name and is from now on called &Tradition. By changing their name, the company's goal was to emphasize the combination of solid craftsmanship and traditional values with modern design. Thanks to their sustainable production methods &Tradition creates outlasting design.The simplest things still are the best and most durable!
With its high quality the Mega Bulb hits the core of &Tradition's philosophy. Its lamp shade, the light bulb, even the cable is transparent (optionally also available in the colour red, see "product versions") - but the shape of the Mega Bulb is classic, simple and absolutely beautiful.
In 2001 it was even awarded with the "Good Design Award" by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design!
