The Drawn HM3 Chair was designed by Hvidt & Mølgaard for the brand &Tradition.

Launched in 1929, &Tradition was part of the European Arts and Crafts Movement. Today it reworks classic 20th-century designs as well as showcasing the work of new talents. Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen created furniture that is now considered iconic. Their work combined functionality with innovative materials and a strong aesthetic appeal. It can be admired in museums such as New York's MoMA.

Attractive and useful, the Drawn HM3 Chair is a classic example of Danish handcrafted furniture. It sits well in contemporary dining rooms, complementing other pieces in the Drawn range. The chair's frame is available in a choice of solid wood that has been turned and milled while the seat is hand-woven from natural paper cord. The crescent-shaped back is attached to the seat by two rounded columns. These descend to form the legs. The front legs are attached to the back legs by two wooden spokes arranged asymmetrically. Despite its lightweight appearance, this is a strong, stable and comfortable piece of furniture. The Drawn HM3 Chair measures 49 x 78 x 46 cm with a seat height of 46cm.
