Skagerak Vent Bench

The Vent Bench was designed by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm for the brand Skagerak.

Danish designer Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm established her own design studio in 2007 after graduating from the prestigious Royal Danish Academy of Art. Focusing on furniture and interior design objects, she has made it her objective to create stylish products for everyday use. Skagerak was founded in Aalborg in 1976. It remains family-run to this day and offers beautiful furniture with long-lasting appeal.

Reflective of its Scandinavian roots, the Vent Bench is a beautifully crafted two-seater with a minimalist allure. The bench takes its name from the Danish word for 'waiting' - it is inspired by the original Vent Stool, which was created to be used by visitors in museums. Featuring an elegant black steel frame with an x-shaped base, the Vent Bench is sturdy without appearing bulky. The seat is made from tightly wound paper yarn which has been wrapped around the frame in a double layer. With its timeless, organic look, this bench is an excellent addition to any hallway or leisure space. It will also look great in your bedroom and can be used on a veranda to create a relaxed design vibe.
