Stellar Big Suspension Lamp

The Stellar Big Suspension Lamp has been created by Sebastian Herkner for the brand pulpo. German designer Sebastian Herkner is inspired by original materials which he likes to make use of while incorporating technology to create new shapes and forms and to optimise function. Using everyday materials and shaping them into something new and novel has seen his work be described as poetic and lyrical. Critics have bestowed awards on a good number of his pieces.

The Stellar Big Suspension Lamp is a typically original Herkner creation. Resembling a star, it is made of steel and different shades of hand-blown coloured glass. Inspired by the spaces that lie between galaxies, this one-of-a-kind lamp is smooth on the half that is made of frosted acetate glass and is textured with ridges on the other half. Hanging from a ceiling, it resembles a shiny star in the night sky. A cluster of these lamps makes a stunning decor statement. The Stellar Big Suspension Lamp measures 39cm in diameter and has a cable length of 320cm. It uses one LED-Bulb E27/7W with an Energy Efficiency Grade of A++. The light source is included in the delivery.
