The Row New Zealand Wool Rug Circular Ø200cm has been created by Studio Terhedebrügge for the brand Northern. Inspired by a bird's eye view, it has textured lines that run parallel. This represents the furrows that are seen on fields when they have been freshly plowed. Just like they do in the fields, the lines on the carpet intersect at different angles. The rugs are made of pure New Zealand wool and they are woven by hand. The long fibres on the carpet have deliberately been cut shorter, resulting in the creation of embossed lines. A close look will show that the carpet is not actually monochromatic but has different shades of the same colour.
