The Colors Rug 170x240cm has been created by Nani Marquina for the brand nanimarquina. Colors is a collection of rugs from Spanish textiles expert Marquina which focuses on bold, but not overpowering tones. Intended to add energy and life to interiors, it will work in bedrooms, living rooms and lounges alike.

The Colors Rug 170x240cm measures 240cm long and 170cm wide and comes in a simple rectangular shape. Marquina chose to use a 'dhurrie' weave for the rug, a style originating in India which creates a thick texture and adds durability to the design. And every inch of the textile involved has been hand woven in India by experienced artisans, making the Colors Rug both stylish and 100% authentic.

The Colors Rug 170x240cm is just 0.4cm thick and the whole rug weighs in at a manageable 6.1kg. So storing or moving the carpet should be relatively easy. The weavers have used New Zealand wool to create the rug, leaving an extended hem around the edges to round off the design. Finally, the choice of materials means that the Colors Rug 170x240cm can be dry cleaned when needed, and anti-slip pads have been added onto the underside to make the rug safer to use.
