The Reverse LED Table Lamp was designed by Aleksandar Lazic for the brand Menu.
Copenhagen-based Lazic has made a name for himself by taking traditional forms and reconsidering their composition, resulting in new interpretations of home furnishings that grab the attention and add extra functionality. Always devoting the utmost attention to detail, his projects have struck a chord with Menu - one of the most important contemporary Scandinavian design labels. The Reverse LED Table Lamp is a great illustration of why that is.
Resembling a mushroom in shape and texture, the Reverse LED Table Lamp has a wonderfully playful feel - as well as features that make it a joy to use. Essentially, this is a standard table lamp, intended for work or home surfaces to supplement the main lighting fixtures. But its appealing toadstool-style aluminium shade immediately signals that this is something exceptional. The shade combines beautifully with a chunky travertine core, which adds texture to the whole composition, while being easy to grasp and move as needed. Large enough to illuminate plenty of space, the lamp measures 30 x 24 cm at its broadest point. The LED bulb casts a warm, inviting glow wherever it is used.
