Product description

The J41 Chair Beech has been created by Børge Mogensen for the brand HAY. Its design is a unique combination of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary lines. The result is a classic design that will never go out of style.

The J41 Chair Beech has a seat and backrest made of moulded plywood that is overlaid with beech veneer. The wide, mid-height backrest has a slight backward incline. It has spindles running down its length. It is this feature and the wood it is made of that make up the traditional element of the chair. Its generously sized, rounded seat has sides that are slightly upturned. The shell rests on a frame made of solid beech. It has been shaped into rounded, sturdy legs with smaller bars running across to form footrests. The legs are angled outwards rather than straight which enhances the stability, strength and durability of the chair.

The J41 Chair Beech has a width of 46.5cm, a height of 82.5cm and a depth of 48cm. Its seat height is 44.5cm. The chair is available in light and dark neutrals as well as pastel colours. Similarly coloured padded and upholstered seat pads are available for purchase separately.
