The About a Chair 21 Swivel Chair Upholstered Polished Base has been created by Hee Welling for the brand HAY. Its look is one of elegance thanks to its gentle curves and clean lines. its timelessness gives it the versatility to be used in numerous spaces.

The About a Chair 21 Swivel Chair Upholstered Polished Base has a low set backrest. At the edges, it is curved inwards which forms high armrests. Its seat is generously sized and it is curved following the lines of the backrest. The outer edge is rounded. Injection-moulded polypropylene has been used for the shell. It is a manufacturing process that uses moulding to create a single piece rather than one with joints. This creates a clean silhouette and enhances the strength of the shell. It is upholstered with Kvadrat fabric which is known for its high quality. The shell is supported by a base made of cast aluminium finished with polishing. It is set on a tubular stem enforced with steel brackets. At the bottom, it branches out to form legs that form a star shape. Each one has gliders underneath. The base has a polyoxyethylene 'POM' mechanism that enables swivelling.

The About a Chair 21 Swivel Chair Upholstered Polished Base has a width of 59cm, a height of 79cm and a depth of 52cm. Its seat height is 46cm. It is available in neutral colours.
