The Mirror round was designed by Studio Roso for the brand Fritz Hansen.
The Danish design house Studio Roso comprises Rolf Knudsen and Sophie Nielsen, who both studied at the Royal College of Art of London. With a focus on interior architecture and art, their pieces are designed with functionality and aesthetics in mind, creating statement pieces that draw attention while seamlessly meshing with modern living spaces. Their work has been featured in London's prestigious Victoria & Albert Museum.
The Mirror round is a bold piece from the range of elegant, contemporary furnishings and home decor that is so typical of the Fritz Hansen collection. The unique aquamarine hue of the mirror gives it a pleasing, natural appearance on any wall. The colour makes it something more than an average mirror, as it serves as a functional looking glass and also resembles a modern watercolour painting. Made of glass and lacquered MDF, it measures a generous 76 x 76 cm, which gives it a grand and eye-catching dimension as a wall hanging or practical mirror. It looks particularly good on a white wall along with several other mirrors from the collection.
