01 Bench

The 01 Bench has been created by Frama for the brand Farma. It is an apt representation of Nordic design traditions. They prioritise simplicity, practicality and timelessness, all embodied in this bench. This piece was inspired by seating commonly found in Nordic churches since the start of the 20th century.

The 01 Bench is made of birch wood. It is finished with an oil coating which leaves its golden-toned grain on show. It has a rectangular seat that is thick and sturdy. It is supported by a base that is a show of dedicated craftsmanship. The legs, which are made of straight bars of wood, are attached to the tabletop on different sides. On each end, one leg is on the inner side of the tabletop while the other is on the outside. Another bar runs across and forms a footrest while reinforcing the table's strength and stability.

The 01 Bench has a length of 114.6cm, a width of 37m and a height of 46cm. It has a seat height of 46cm. It is available in its natural colour, or with a light or dark staining. It is a versatile piece that can be used at the foot of a bed or for seating at a dining table. It will also work well in an entryway. Over time the wood will age, developing a unique patina, adding to its timelessness.
