Bianca LED Suspension Lamp

The eye-catching Bianca LED Suspension Lamp was created by Matti Klenell for award-winning Italian design company Fontana Arte.

Luigi Fontana established the business in 1881, developing his unique style for one-off and bespoke float glass furnishings. He was later joined by the hugely talented Gio Ponti, who designed classic lamps and architectural pieces. Over the proceeding years, Fontana Arte has collaborated with many world-renowned designers, creating iconic lamps that combine solutions for everyday living with beautiful aesthetic values. Matti Klenell is one such highly creative glass artist who incorporates Scandinavian design, traditional techniques and cutting edge technology. He has received many awards for his outstanding work, including the Red Dot design award and Ljunggren Design Prize.

The opal shaped Bianca LED Suspension Lamp is crafted from a skilfully mouth-blown cased glass diffuser and decorated with intricately patterned shallow concentric grooves. The delicate impressions resemble small footprints on fresh snow, and combined with the milky white satin glass finish, this produces a warm, diffused and enveloping light. The lamp is powered by a 17.5W Led unit, measures 30cm in height, 30cm in diameter and comes complete with a 250cm cable. Simple and beautiful, it will add a touch of class to your dining room, lounge or bedroom.
