Oyster Wall Lamp

The Oyster Wall Lamp h as been created by the in-house studio for the brand ferm LIVING. Created to resemble oyster shells found on the beach, this creatively styled wall lamp uses curved sections of recycled aluminium to conjure up a magical effect. It will add a touch of artistry to interior walls, while offering capable illumination to supplement main lights.

The Oyster Wall Lamp immediately impresses with its flowing curves. The designers have taken shell forms as their inspiration, forming lengths of black aluminium into a beautiful arrangement which casts an indirect light downwards and around, brightening walls in the process. A slender power cable runs behind the lamp, connecting the light source without intruding on the overall aesthetic.

The Oyster Wall Lamp has a height of 60cm and measures 33.6cm wide by 12.7cm deep. The power cable has a length of 2.6m, and the unit weighs 1.5kg, so moving and installing the lamp should be relatively easy. Thanks to its ripples and folds, Oyster uses light to generate an intoxicating blend of shadows and brightness. More than a lamp, it brings sculptural beauty to interior spaces, illuminating them when needed, and providing an inspirational visual accent at the same time.
