Drape Lampshade S

The Drape Lampshade S has been created by ferm LIVING for the brand ferm LIVING. It is made entirely by hand. This causes minor variations between similar pieces.

The Drape Lampshade S is made of undyed rattan. It has been woven around a wire made of iron. Apart from its natural, organic look, the lampshade stands out because of its irregular shape that defies the convention of a sphere or other regular shape. It starts out as a sphere at the top and then becomes wider and narrow in different spots towards the bottom. The shade conceals a light source that casts direct light downwards. Some light is also emitted through the small openings in the braided rattan. This light forms distinctive patterns when the lamp is turned on.

The Drape Lampshade S has a width of 32cm, a height of 24cm and a depth of 29cm. It comes in the natural colour of rattan. It does not come with a bulb or cable. An LED lamp with a maximum of 12W is recommended by the manufacturer. The shade should be cared for with vacuuming to remove dirt. It should never be cleaned with water which will damage the rattan.
