Product description

The Pony Stool has been created by Eero Aarnio for the brand Eero Aarnio Originals. At first glance, this piece looks like a fun colourful addition to a child's toy collection but it is actually a seat. Inspired by the idea that any firm surface can act as a chair, the innovative designer set out to make a seat that resembles a pony.

The 1973 Pony Stool has a body made of moulded foam. It is joined to the feet and ears using a tube-shaped frame that is concealed by a stretchy fabric upholstery. Its size was selected to ensure it was ergonomic. Its height and other dimensions ensure it provides comfort whether it is being sat on or ridden.

The Pony Stool has a length of 110cm, a width of 65cm and a height of 87cm. It comes in bright, bold colours as well as neutral ones. While it is made for young ones, this seat can also accommodate adults so mum and dad can also enjoy a ride on the pony. The stool should be kept clean with regular vacuuming. It should not be washed with water.
