The amazing Artemide Surf Wall Lamp was designed by Neil Poulton for the Italian design label Artemide.
Born in 1963, Neil Poulton a Scottish designer based in Paris, France, specialises in seemingly simple-looking objects. Neil Poulton undertook a BSc degree in Industrial Design in Edinburg before embarking on a Master?s degree at the Domus Academy in Milan, Italy, under the guidance of designer Alberto Meda and Italian architect, Andrea Branzi. He is most popular for the ageing pen concept which involves the use of plastic that wears out in layers as time elapses, hence, the pen seems to be ageing. He has a long association with Artemide.
