The Tabouret Solvay Prouvé Stool has been created by Jean Prouvé for the brand Vitra. It has a design that combines different shapes to create a piece with an intriguing look. It is one that is unique and timeless.

The Tabouret Solvay Prouvé Stool is made of oak or walnut. It has a round seat which is the only bit of it that conforms to the norm. The base departs from expected with slats rather than legs. It has four wedge-shaped slats that are joined in the middle with steel plates and bolts. They are finished with dark powder coating that contrasts with the warm tones of wood on pieces that are finished with oiling or clear varnish. It blends in with those that are finished with dark staining. There are round badges with the brand's name and logo that are also dark-toned. They provide authentication of originality while adding another subtle decorative detail.
