Product description

The .05 Chair not stackable has been created by Maarten van Severen for the brand Vitra. Its success story continues to unfold more than 80 years after it was designed. It delivers without limits when it comes to form and function.

The .05 Chair not stackable is made of polyurethane which is a type of plastic. It is moulded through a manufacturing process known as injection moulding. It makes it possible to shape the shell as a single piece without any joints or fasteners which gives the chair a clean, uncluttered look. It has a mid-height backrest with a straight upper edge. It is reinforced with built-in springs at the top that causes it to slightly incline backwards when you lean back in the seat. The shell is supported by a frame made of stainless steel shaped into sturdy tubes. They go right up to the bottom where they form sled-style legs with gliders underneath to protect the floor from scratches.

The .05 Chair not stackable has a width of 41cm, a height of 84.5cm and a depth of 50cm. Its seat height is 45cm. It is available in neutral colours.
