The Solo Shelving System Module 8 has been created by Bastian Prieler for the brand Tojo. This module gets its name from the eight modules that compromise the structure. It is a building module designed to take extension modules that can extend as high or wide as desired.
The Solo Shelving System Module 8 has four long shelves and four vertical ones that are joined to form eight box-shaped modules. The ends of these shelves extend beyond the edges of these modules which provides extra spaces that can be used to place additional items.
The outer edges of these modules have grooves. These are designed to take extension modules. These can be added on to expand the unit's height so it can stand tall or its width so it can cover a wall from end to end if so desired. The unit is freestanding which facilitates expansion in either direction. Tools are not required which makes expansion fast and easy. The Solo Shelving System Module 8 has a width of 140cm, a height of 140cm and a depth of 35cm. It is made of MDF which is coated in white except over the edges. This aesthetic detail works well with the unit's minimalist design.
