The Tojo Kleinmöbel High Desk is a multi-functional furniture piece designed by Alexander Schenk for furniture brand Tojo.
Schenk is a design consultant, master carpenter and product designer, renowned for his innovative and functional designs. He has been designing since 1985 and has worked closely with Tojo since 2001, some of his most notable designs being the Fon and Fin consoles and the bank entitled Sit. His product "Segelzelt" was nominated for the design prize of Germany in 2007 and he has been awarded both the Promotional Gift Award and Focus in Silber Award.
The Tojo Kleinmöbel High Desk offers a balance of ergonomics and style that enhances your office or living space both in appearance and functionality. Both the shiny central support piece and the shelves feature a wood-effect edge detail that draws attention and lends a contemporary feel - this would work well with any style of décor. At 116 high, 50cm deep and 56 wide, the desk is well designed for those who prefer to stand whilst they work. The MDF-coated construction is robust and easy to maintain. Beneath the main workspace is a useful shelf which is useful storage and allows the desk to be used as a lectern.
