808 Lounge Chair

The 808 Lounge Chair has been created by Formstelle for the brand Thonet. Danish studio Formstelle is the brainchild of Claudia Kleine and Jörg Kürschner. The studio focuses on producing pieces that make both a space and its owner happy and proud. That is certainly true of the 808 Lounge Chair that won the prestigious Interior Innovation Award in 2015. It adds style and interest to any space with its innovative sculptural lines and futuristic appearance.

The 808 Lounge Chair, a reinterpretation of the classic wing chair, invites you to sit on it and sink into its comfort. It has a cocoon-like seat that has its ends raised, which makes sitting on it feel like an embrace. It also has a headrest that curves inwards and feels protective. Another standout detail is the leather and premium fabric upholstery that has a soft wave effect. It stands on a base made of steel that is fitted with glides. The chair can be adjusted to suit individual preferences and comfort settings.

The 808 Lounge Chair has a width of 78cm, a height of 121cm and a depth of 78cm. It has a seat height of 38cm. It can be purchased along with a matching footstool.
