The elegant Theo Tea Mug was designed by Francis Cayouette for the Danish manufacturer Stelton.

Stelton is a Danish brand that is known across the globe for its creative designs with high attention to detail. The brand stays true to the Scandinavian design philosophy in offering desirable products that are minimalist yet highly functional. The Theo Tea Mug is part of a successful range that earned the designer the iF Design Award 2015.

The delightful Theo Tea Mug is constructed from matte black stoneware. It features a cast iron finish on the outside and a glossy glaze on the interior to create an eye-catching rustic appearance. It is 8cm tall, 8cm in diameter and has a capacity of 200ml. A particularly useful feature is its bamboo lid, which helps insulate the beverage and doubles up as a coaster to protect surfaces. The light-coloured bamboo lid works in harmony with the black cup to create a pleasing appearance to perfectly compliment a relaxing tea break. This cup is also suitable for containing other beverages and liquid food, such as miso soup. In addition to the tea cup, the Theo range also includes a teapot, a coffee jug, a milk jug and a sugar bowl.
