The son of a furniture maker, Povl Bjerregaard Eskildsen was born in Denmark in 1954. He graduated from the Aarhus School of Architecture in 1986. Eskildsen designs products and furniture for several well-known manufacturers. Skagerak is a Danish homeware brand that was founded in 1976. Famous for the Drachmann Bench, Selandia Series and Fionia Stool, the brand is renowned for the passionate creation of innovative, sustainable wooden products. The company has received Red Dot awards for their Vivlio Shelf System and Riviera Lounge.
