Skagerak Plank Garden Table

The Plank Garden Table has been created by Aurélien Barbry for the brand Skagerak. It is a Sustainable Choice product. The FSC-certified teak it is made of qualifies it for this classification. Certification from the Forest Stewardship Council 'FSC' indicates that the wood has been sourced from responsibly managed forests that emphasise the importance of preservation.

The Plank Garden Table is made of teak. It is hardwood so it is strong and durable. Additionally, it has a high quantity of natural oil which is very helpful for standing up against the elements it is constantly exposed to when kept outside. The wood has been shaped into equally-sized planks with small spaces in between. The design makes it possible to extend it to accommodate more people by simply placing similar tables next to it. As it is, it can comfortably seat four to six people.

The Plank Garden Table has a length of 160cm, a width of 90cm and a height of 73cm. The table should be wiped with a damp cloth to clean it. For a deeper clean, a soft bristle brush can be used to clean the spaces in between. Wood wax or oil should then be applied to condition it. The table should be stored indoors during rain and snow seasons to protect it from contracting and warping.
