Plank Garden Bench

The Plank Garden Bench has been created by Aurélien Barbry for the brand Skagerak. Certification from the Forest Stewardship Council 'FSC' puts this product in the class of Sustainable Choice products. The certification guarantees that it is an eco-friendly product made from wood sourced from responsibly managed forests.

The Plank Garden Bench is made of teak. Apart from its strength and durability, it is a hardwood that has a significant amount of natural oil. This oil is very helpful for protecting it from the elements. Vertical planks form a mid-height backrest while horizontal ones form the seat. Both parts have spaces in between that give the bench a light, airy look that works well for use outdoors. A beam over the top of the backrest adds a decorative touch and provides a place to set down a drink, snack or a portable light. Steady planks make up a strong frame that can easily hold the weight of three people.

The Plank Garden Bench has a length of 144cm, a width of 70cm and a height of 77cm. Its seat has a height of 45cm and a backrest height of 77cm. Periodic conditioning with wood wax or oil and storing it indoors in winter will preserve the table for a long time.
