This ambient Owalo 7000 LED Suspension Lamp was created by Seppo Koho for innovative design company Secto Design.

Secto Design are a small production house that got their start when their founder Tuula Jusélius noticed a lack of elegantly styled wooden lamps in the marketplace. Teaming up with Koho has resulted in a one-of-a-kind collection that offers a unique kind of lighting experience that takes advantage of the certified Birch wood that goes into this Owalo 7000 LED Suspension Lamp.

The light exits from the aperture below, yet is also allowed to ignite a deeper light by diffusing through the wood at the side of the lamp. The resulting atmosphere is one that has to be experienced to be truly understood, which is why the company favors trade shows as a primary mode of advertisement. The lamp is 100cm long with a 13cm height and the cable extends 200cm to allow for easy positioning, even in rooms with high ceilings. It employs the latest energy-saving LED fixtures to provide a powerful light that won't lead to excessive electricity bills.
