The elegant Wall Flame 1 Wall-mounted Fireplace was designed by Michael Rösing for the German manufacturer Radius.

Radius was founded by Rösing, the managing director who designs pieces for the home that are not only high quality but have pure aesthetics and high functionality. The company has won numerous awards, and their ethanol fireplace was a DesignPreis 2009 nominee.

The Wall Flame 1 Wall-mounted Fireplace is made from stainless steel and safety glass. It has a seamless shelf shape with a rectangular back curving to a base that is elevated above the floor. The flames are shielded by a sheet of transparent glass, and the ceramic combustion chamber has a double wall, with regulating flaps for adjustable flame height. It has a capacity of 1.7 litres and measures 80 x 35 x 40 cm. The fireplace uses liquid bio-ethanol fuel ensuring a steady, uniform flame for up to four hours without leaving any residue.
